There’s a new pizza sheriff in town and it’s raring to rustle up some serious spice and a fresh fiesta of zesty flavors – ‘Cactus Makes Perfect’ Pizza. Yup, we said cactus. As in, that thing you’ve never had on pizza but are going to love. It takes around half an hour to make (and cactus is easier to work with than you think), so saddle up your taste buds and get ready for this Southwestern treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower Pizza Crusts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (cactus leaves, red onion, plum tomato, corn)
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Sprig fresh cilantro (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Mix sour cream and taco seasoning together in a small bowl.
  3. Remove your CAULIPOWER crust from the box and the plastic wrapping, and place on a clean surface.
  4. Remind yourself to remain calm in the face of all this deliciousness.
  5. Spread the sour cream/taco seasoning mixture over your CAULIPOWER plain crust.
  6. Toss diced vegetables with more taco seasoning (to taste) and spread spiced veggies evenly over your pizza.
  7. Sprinkle your pizza creation with cheese (mmmm, cheese) and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crust appears golden-brown.
  8. Remove pizza from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro (optional).
