Healthy Baked Orange Chicken

With this Orange Chicken hack, there's finally a tasty takeout upgrade with something for EVERYONE! It's not only delish but also gluten-free, low carb, and lower sugar.

  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch, flour, or arrowroot to thicken
  • rice of choice
  • chives, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer for 3 minutes at 360°F.
  2. Remove CAULIPOWER Chicken Tenders from freezer and air fry according to package instructions.
  3. In a saucepan, heat 1 tbsp oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add orange juice, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, and sesame oil to saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  5. In a small bowl, mix thickening agent with a splash of water, add to saucepan and simmer until sauce is syrupy, about 5 minutes.
  6. Coat tenders with sauce, place on rice, and top with chives.
